This may have an acrylic base but it has been finished in oils. I had prepared my palette and paints to do a portrait of my long time friend, we became blood sisters in the 90's. I decided to get high, just cabbage, and that I would paint from spirit only. After that first session I was changed. I saw the Banshee, I saw her and what happened to her, how Deceit had ruined her and her stories and so making her ineffectual except to scare the children and that's not what the supernatural is actually about. So, I reveal The Banshee, she is stuck with one foot here on this planet in time, in space while being frozen by the Mateix, made into something no longer fluid and therefore no longer living. She may be fetid but she lives and waits like the Last Air Bender. She waits to destroy her captors and free you all but first, she must be witnessed again. Believed in, again, respected, if met, allowed her freedom just like you.
